Es gibt diverse Diskussionen über die Frage des idealen Papiers für die Coloration von Stempelmotiven mit Copics. Um das Papier zur Erstellung von Karten verwenden zu können sollte es nicht zu dünn sein, also eine gewisse Grammzahl haben. Damit die Farben nicht auslaufen und man Tinte spart empfiehlt es sich zudem, dass das Papier nicht zu saugfähig ist. Wenn man weiß, dass die Farben auf dem vorhandenen Papier auslaufen, kann man sich jedoch auch darauf einstellen und einfach nicht ganz bis zum Rand malen.
Letztlich ist es meiner Meinung nach eine Frage des persönlichen Geschmacks.

There are a lot of discussions about the perfect paper for coloring stamped images with Copics. If you want to use the paper to create cards it should not be too light. To avoid ink running out of the lines and to save ink the paper should not be too absorbent. But when you know that the ink will easily run out of the lines on the paper you bought, you can adjust yourself to that and stop coloring on the verge of the lines. Finally it's a matter of personal preferences.


Da die Copic- Farben je nach Farbton und Struktur des Papiers unterschiedlich aussehen, empfiehlt es sich, sich für die unterschiedlichen Papiere jeweils ein Colorchart anzulegen.

As the Copic- colors look different depending on the color shade and structure of the paper, it is advisable to create a Colorchart for each paper you use.

  Das Papier hat 218g und ist strahlend weiß.
  Das Papier sollte bei jedem Stampin Up- Demonstrator erhältlich sein.

• Gina K - Pure Luxury 120 lb pure white
  Das Papier ist sehr weiß und sehr glatt und hat das Format 27,94 x 21,59 cm.
  The paper is also dazzling white, very smooth and measures 8,5" x 11".

• Canson illustration (DIN A4)
  Das Papier ist nach dem Titel als für Manga und Faserstifte geeignet beschrieben. Es hat jedoch eine recht rauhe saugende Oberfläche - was mich jedoch nicht gestört hat. Es hat 250g (90lb) und ist eher cremeweiß.
  Following the title the paper is made for Manga and felt- tip pens. It has a quite rough absorbent surface - which didn't matter for me at all. It has a weight of 90lb and looks cream white.

• Karteikarten/Filing Cards
  Heiß umstritten ist die Verwendung von Karteikarten. Ein Argument dagegen ist, dass man zuviel Tinte verbrauchen würde, weil das Papier diese zu sehr aufsaugen würde. Ich bevorzuge jedoch Farbverläufe ohne Kanten und finde es auf diesem Papier leichter die Farben zu verwischen. Da habe ich mich bei Gina K und Stampin up wesentlich schwerer getan, obwohl die Papiere total glatt sind. Ich hatte jetzt nicht den Eindruck, dass ich dabei weniger Tinte verbraucht hätte und die wesentlich höheren Kosten der anderen Papiere muss man ja auch bedenken...
  There are a lot of discussions about using filing cards for coloring with Copics. An argument against it is that you would waste a lot of ink, because the paper is quite absorbent. As I prefer color gradients without edges I find it easyer to blend colors on filing cards. I had a lot more problems blending colors on Gina K or Stampin up papers, although they are quite glossy. I didn't have the impression that I used less ink on these papers and you also have to consider the higher costs of these papers...

Aber wie bereits erwähnt, letztlich ist es eine Frage des persönlichen Geschmacks.
